My project allows users to create lists. You can add, remove, and sort list items, and any changes will be saved via AJAX. It utilizes HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL.
My project is the start up of my work in a portfolio. It also has a submission for an email to be sent to me at the bottom of the page. I used HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP. The PHP is mainly used for the email to be sent.
Forgot to put the url, here it is:

This project was made for my Interactive Entertainment class. I have created the concepts for different forms of entertainment using a Spider-Man theme. The pages are mostly made with HTML and CSS. There is some Javascript on the homepage. The script that you won’t notice at first glance is that an alert box appears if the user doesn’t move to a different page within 25 seconds.
Please view this page in Firefox.
My page has the following being used: HTML, CSS, Flex, PHP, and MySQL to play with databases. All of my content and interaction of content is laid out in flex and embedded into HTML. CSS is used heavily to make sure my layout is clean. For even more fun click on the 4th asterisk on the bottom, next to the warning label. Navigating to this secret page will prompt the user to join our fake mailing list. I have added code to determine which button was pushed and had an event change based on that decision. Clicking the database link will bring you to a page where you can add/delete/edit/search in the database. have fun, and don’t get LOST.

My original project is designed for my IT programming class (Enterprise Computing) which uses a MySQL database and a tomcat server to run the jsp. Since I was unable to figure out a way of reconfiguring the files for Sulley I produced this stripped-down example of what the user “would” see if the database was actually connected.
The actual project uses html, flex, jsp, Mysql, java, and some javascript/CSS elements. This example however does not include the Mysql database, java, or jsp.
The purpose of this project is to let a user enter Sql commands in a text area to either “select” items from the database and display them in a table, or “input / update” elements of the database.
An interesting note about java servlet technology(including my jsp project) is that it uses xml files to accomplish many of it’s tasks. The server.xml file for example tells the server what services it needs to run. There is also a web.xml file which establishes default values in each application.
I will also upload an example of this to the “example” folder listed in the URL above.
woops, here’s the url…

My page utilizes Html, Css, and Flex
My project uses MXML/Actionscript, CSS, XML, and XSL. It’s an styled backend editor for my blog that has a God of War theme. It has a video player and the video and whole forms visibility can be toggled. The video has sound and controls.

My final project is my portfolio with some of my graphic design work. Also there is a guestbook where people can post about specific images. The portfolio page utilizes HTML/CSS, Flash and Flex for posting to the guestbook.
The guestbook is styled in XML/XSL.

My project was created for an old band I was in, Skuff’d Shoes. It uses HTML/CSS/JavaScript/Flex. The biography page is HTML and CSS. The calendar page uses JavaScript for the mouseOver interaction. I wasn’t able to figure out how to turn the information into an array and use the array in the code. I read somewhere I’d have to use a .opener, but couldn’t figure it out. I used Flex for the video page. Finally, I used some more JavaScript to swap the pictures in the picture gallery.

My digital portfolio. All original work other than the lightbox code and the music player.
My project was for a client back in my hometown. It is a website for a Buttefly garden called “Homosassa Butterfly”. I mainly utilized css and html for the layout look. I incorporated a javascript calendar to generate on all the pages that automatically gets the month, and day. On my contact page, I created a php email form. The client hasn’t provided an official email for the company so I linked it to my email.
My project was created by using HTML, CSS, and Javascript. It is a portfolio webpage where I also put up a form for the means of purchasing the artwork selected.
My project is a site created for my parents’ Mona Vie business. It is HTML styled with CSS. The contact us form contains a JavaScript form that will stop the user for not filling in the appropriate information, for not using a real email, and from not retyping the email correctly. It will then show the user what they are submitting and ask if they want to send before emailing the form.

My project is a website/blog where I write and record two songs a week. It uses WordPress, but I the CSS, edited some of the theme in PHP, and made a music player for the songs in FLEX. Also some random Javascript and HTML everywhere.

My project uses Javascript to display multiple .mov files on one page, using CSS to format a short portfolio of my work in another class.

My project is a registration system for the Planetarium at Pensacola Junior College, where my dad works. I built it using Flex, PHP, and XML, based on our homework 6. This is a practical application of this technology, and I have modified it to suit the needs.
I was given control over the UCF Kendo website. I decided to implement a few things I learned. Right now the contact page just lists an email as you can see here: http://pegasus.cc.ucf.edu/~cfkendo/contact.php. But in the version I made I have a form that utilizes the verification stuff we learned earlier in the semester. I use a little bit of php to prcoess it. I keep it styled the same as the rest of the site with the CSS file.
Additionally I attempted to integrate a update page using xml/xsl and flex. I have not finished it yet but you can see what I have so far here: http://pegasus.cc.ucf.edu/~cfkendo/indexnew.xml and http://pegasus.cc.ucf.edu/~cfkendo/indexnew/indexnew.html
My project is the initial version of my portfolio page using HTML, CSS, Flex, and JS. The HTML and CSS were used for creating the layout of my site and adding a background image that is persistent across all pages. I also used CSS to create a three columned look that was elastic. I started with a template from dreamweaver and then made some modifications to it. The Flex was used for a couple of media players to showcase the video work I’ve done. You can play, pause, and stop. The javascript was used to generate a calendar for an entire calendar year. Only one month is displayed and each day is a link to a page where you can view the appointments I have and my to do list. Using the date object every time the date changes on your computer the month will automatically update on my website.

I used actionscript for the video, javascript for the image gallery,, javascript for the image rollerover, and css/xhtml to stylize the overall page.
i forgot to add the link. here it is. http://sulley.dm.ucf.edu/~bwillis/mystuff/test.html
My project is an attempt to convert an existing PHP/MySQL blog into a Flex based layout. Uses a remoting PHP page that converts the selected info from the database into XML so that it can be rendered for viewing and manipulation by Flex.

This is my PortFolio, I have jpegs of my projects that i have done so far here at ucf. It is a work in progress. I created all of the CSS and html.
Chad Ricker- Final Project
I decided to build a Machinima website since I recently got into it. I orginally was going to do my project on JS but found that it would be more stream-line to use Flex/XML/AS to add content to my site.
I used HTML/CSS to style it as well as XSL. Most of the content is generated through those but I’m using XML through a Flex app I built to update the site’s entries. I used JS for the buttons’ actions (rollover/down/etc).
Basically, I took what we learned in class throughout the semester and thought of a way to update my site easily. Since we learned hwo to update XML in Flex I thought it would be perfect. Although, the information is super scarce on what I want to use XML for I was able to figure how to add images and text. Hopefully in the next few weeks,or if someone can tell me, I would like to figure out how to add links. Most people tell me I can’t do it but they said that about images too so I dont know.. (-_-;).
Before I actually launch this website I will do a major overhaul and make sure it works on all comps/browsers. I will also add tons of content but these things will take months given the size of the final site.

My project was to make a little site with MadLibs that the user could fill out. (and yes, it is meant to look that goobery). The site utilizes Flex, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Flash. The logo that’s in the upper right corner I made in Flash and also put some actionscript on it so that it would relink to the original page. The lips I made up in Photoshop. The libs I also made up and are implemented via flex. I never realized before this project just how difficult it is to make a good MadLib. Doing this definitely helped teach me about the limitations and advantages of using flex. Also, prior to this, I’d never before created something in Flash intended for website usage, so I learned quite a bit about that.
WARNING! The site was built SPECIFICALLY for FireFox with a screen resolution of 1280 X 800. If you open it in IE, it will may look horrible (this also depends on the screen resolution, looking at it in IE with the intended resolution looks awful). I had intended to research how to detect differnet browers and different resolutions and then load a certain CSS stylesheet based on that, but I bit off more than I could chew with all the work this project took and did not get around to it. Intially, my original layout design looked fine in both browers but left an unseemly amount of white space at the tail end of the page, so I just decided to shoot for making it look good in one target browser.

My project is an idea I had a semester or two ago: why not make our student homepages on the Sulley Server something more useful? To that end, i’ve contructed a two-part project: the first is the homepage itself, index.html, built with HTML, CSS, and a large number of dynamic elements introduced through javascript. The second is a back-end editor constructed in Flex, which allows users to update and append content on the front page with minimal effort. The information entered in the Flex application is saved in a number of XML files, which are then loaded and parsed on the front-page in javascript at run-time.

This is a site I created for my Film class this semester I used what we had learned with Xhtml, CSS, and javascript to make the site. The drop down tabs were made with javascript that i had taken from another site, however I had to fix the code so that it would properly display the last tab clicked, it was said to already do this.
a sports blog with photo gallery and rss feed news
my project is a portfolio page using HTML, CSS, and some JavaScript. It is very rough and will probably be reuploaded with a more complete feel.

My website is a simple webcomic site that uses HTML, CSS, and minimal javascript. It was mainly done as a way for me to not use freewebs layout to do my webpages, and move all of my comics to a better webservice such as Comic Genesis. One of the things I didn’t get to do that I wanted to was create a Javascript calendar that when you typed in a month it spit out that month, with the days with comics highlighted.
http://www.dm.ucf.edu/~rstephens/
I made a simple portfolio website that includes lightbox 2 javascript which I acquired from http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox2/. All other code is self generated. I took the blog idea from the beginning homeworks of this class, I just updated mine to look a little bit cleaner and more sophisticated. Other than that, everything else is simple HTML and CSS.

My project is my portfolio. I used HTML and CSS for the design and PHP for the contact form.
http://sulley.dm.ucf.edu/~khan/public_html/2.html
I created a Flash website that utilizlies ActionScript 2.0. Also used the dynamic text field to an external .txt file. There is an external movie clipped attached with the components.
My project was a website for K92FM’s All Star Acoustic Jam. Using HTML, CSS and Javascript I created a website that included Jam History, Jam Photos, Information on the Ronald McDonald House and a link for More Information. I implemented Javascript in an automatic last updated feature that is located at the bottom of each page, the Photos portion of my website (allowing the user to navigate back and forth through each photo) and in the user form submitted to find out more information (a screen will pop up thanking them for their submission). Also, in the photos portion I wanted to incorporate a function allowing viewers to be able to download their own photos from past Acoustic Jams. The idea is there, but the code is sourced from openjs.com.
Thanks and hoped you enjoyed it!

My project is a full flash based website, I also included some JavaScript and HTML. I have created a band page with some audio files and a video file. I have learned so much from doing this project and I hope to continue finding out as much as I can.
here is my link sorry I forgot to include it in my comment above:

This is a concept of a folio site that I am currently working on. The site boils down to implementing java script using “lytebox” an off shoot of “lightbox” image gallery, I really like how the gallery showed up. Most of the is done in CSS and HTML. I also incorporated a contact form that automatically sends me the comment through email. It uses form2mail script php. All of the codes can be found on my root folder for this project and the source code of the page.

My project was inspired by several projects we did in this class. I used HTML, CSS, XML/XSL and Javascript to create a class site.
I put my URL in the website part but it didn’t show up! Here tis:

I created a portfolio website for some of my photography that I’ve taken. I used photoshop to create my background images.
I displayed the pictures using css code I found on w3schools. I used the form from homework 3 and revised it for my site. I added a javascript function to the form that grays out the screen when the javascript alert pops up, which I found online and cited in my code.
Eventually I would like to connect my photos with lightbox to display them and also have the form submit to my email or even send me a text on my phone! I found some code that did that but I don’t know anything about php
Adding a working blog link… and music would be nice too..lol one day.
I have so many ideas in my head, it’s just hard to get them on the screen the way I want because I’m still learning!
I used this project as an opportunity to make a website for potential employers showing off my Photoshop work. I borrowed a Javascript Function from http://www.joemaller.com in order to do rollover pictures enabling me to fit more pictures using less browser window space. Everything else on the site is XHTML and CSS that I have written myself.

For my project, I’ve created a simple Javascript photo gallery that dynamically loads the full version of each picture when the thumbnails are clicked. I will implement this into my portfolio site once the semester is over and i have some free time!
Here is the url, forgot it in the first post:

This is basically a star chart, like the ones used in elementary school, but online! It allows you to add and remove stars and users. The star chart itself is an xsl styled xml, with css applied to the xsl. The manager is a Flex project, using Flex css for styling.
This my portfolio.
I chose to make my site about my personal business. As a freelancer, people can check my demo reel. See pictures of me on set. Also be updated on projects I am working on. I want people to be able to go to the video section and click on video that will fade everything in the background and bring the video upfront. Also in the picture album people will be able to click next or previous to move through the pictures and they will be able to go down a list to different albums. Also there is a print button if they want to print the picture. I used an example css style sheet and just made everything the way I wanted it to look. Also I used a script from javascript.com for the print, album, and video. Just implemented them into the html. The video is a sample by the way to give credit to the creator.

For my project, I created a portfolio page to display my work in audio engineering and sound design using html and css. It includes roll over buttons in the nav using javascript, and a drop down menu also using javascript. On the “about” page, I have a email form made with php that sends a message to my gmail account. I also have embedded quick time players on each of the portfolio sections displaying my work.
